Issuing of temporary accounts for training sessions

Overview

For a fee, we can issue temporary accounts to be used in training sessions for which ECCS access is required. The temporary accounts will only be valid for a certain time-period i.e. the duration of the training session.

How to apply

Please send the following information to ecc-support [at] ecc.u-tokyo.ac.jp.

Regarding distribution and administration of temporary accounts

Once they have been issued, we will send the login details of the temporary accounts to the applicant via internal mail. Please contact us if you want to receive the account details via an alternative channel, e.g. collecting them directly from the ITC before the start of your training session.

Login details for the accounts are to be distributed to users by the applicant (or person in charge of the training session).

In the event that accounts are used in a manner that is problematic in terms of information ethics, the applicant will be held responsible.

As such, we highly recommend that, as a cautionary measure, you keep a record of who each account was issued to.

Restrictions

Please note that the following restrictions have been imposed on temporary accounts as they are also issued to individuals outside the university:

Fee

Regardless of whether or not the accounts are used, a fee of 1,000 yen will be charged per account.
