Information session on how to use the system

News

There will be an information session on how to use the system at both Hongo and Komaba Campuses. This session will be for academic and administrative staff who use the Educational Campus-wide Computing System (ECCS) in order to give their lessons, teaching assistants and people in charge of distributed terminals. Once the explanation of the ECCS has been completed, an explanation about the learning management system ITC-LMS will also be given. (ITC-LMS website,ITC-LMS)

ITC-LMS is a Learning Management System (LMS) composed of functions such as course materials (distribution), assignments, tests, discussions, questionnaires and attendance. If the ITC-LMS is used for your class, the following will be possible.

• Students can download course materials through the web.
• Students can submit their assignments through the web.
• Academic staff can give tests to students online.
• Academic staff and students can conduct discussions through a bulletin board.

As advance preparation is required to run the session, anyone wishing to participate in the information session should make sure to apply well in advance.

1. Location

• Hongo Campus: Tuesday, September 11, 13:30 to 15:00 in the Large PC Class Room 1 on the 1st floor of the Information Technology Center
• Komaba Campus: Wednesday, September 12, 13:30 to 15:00 in the Large PC Class Room 2, on the 3rd floor of the Information Education Building

• The location where you wish to participate, your affiliation, status, name, and contact information (E-mail address, telephone number)
• Are you a person in charge of a course or management of distributed terminals?
• Any points you would like to ask? (Please write only if you have something specific.)

[Notice] This information session will take place in Japanese only. However questions can be accepted in English on the day, and will be answered in English.
