An error message appears even though you have successfully logged in with your UTokyo Account

Immediately after changing the initial password for the UTokyo Account, such as when you use the UTokyo Account for the first time, you may receive “Incorrect user ID or password. Type the correct user ID and password, and try again” message on the ECCS User Menu. This happens even though you have successfully signed in and the screen has moved to the ECCS User Menu (idm.ecc.u-tokyo.ac.jp).

This occurs because it takes at most ten minutes for the password change in the UTokyo Account to be reflected in the ECCS User Menu.

If the above error message appears, please wait for about ten minutes from when you changed the password.
