The Educational Campuswide Computing System (ECCS) provides exclusive services for members of the University of Tokyo. Therefore, your rights to use ECCS will be lost when you leave the university.
Although your ECCS account does not expire immediately, it will be inactivated a while you leave.
Regarding e-mail, however, mail forwarding to an off-campus account is available for about six months if you have set up or arranged the forwarding while your ECCS account is still active.
In order to set up e-mail forwarding, please visit the Web Mail server at https://ms.ecc.u-tokyo.ac.jp/ and select the "Preferences" -> "Forwarding".
Without prearrangement for e-mail forwarding, you can no longer read any mail sent to your ECCS e-mail address once your ECCS account is inactivated.
If you have published web pages at http://user.ecc.u-tokyo.ac.jp/, those pages are available for a while and you cannot delete them by yourself after your ECCS account is inactivated. If you do not want your webpage open to the public in and you leave, we recommend you to proceed with the “公開中断(Stop Publication)” at https://secure.ecc.u-tokyo.ac.jp/web.html during the registered.
