Public hearing on the next generation of ECCS and MailHosting system

The Campus-wide Computing Research Division of the Information Technology Center will hold a public hearing so that academic and administrative staff who use our system for daily classes or design courses will have the opportunity to give their opinions about the next generation of ECCS/MailHosting system before the planning for the next generation of the system scheduled to start operating in March, 2020 will commence in earnest.

Both public hearings on the Hongo Campus and the Komaba Campus will have the same content.
As advance preparation is required to run the session, anyone wishing to participate in the public hearing should make sure to apply well in advance.

1. Location

• Hongo Campus: Tuesday, September 11 from 15:00 to 16:00 in the Large PC Class Room 1 on the 1st floor of the Information Technology Center
  
• Komaba Cmapus: Wednesday, September 12 from 15:00 to 16:00 in the Large PC Class Room 2 on the 3rd floor of the Information Education Building

2. Application

• By email to : ecc-support [at mark] ecc. U-tokyo.ac.jp (please replace the [at mark] with @ when sending)

3. Information required when applying

• Location you are going to attend, your afiliation, status, name, contact information (email address and telephone number)
• Inform us that you are “the person in charge of the courses” or “an administrator/the person in charge of the distributed setup terminals”
• Any points you would like to ask (if you have any)

This public hearing will take place in Japanese only. However questions can be accepted in English on the day, and will be answered in English.
