Educational Campus-wide Computing System (ECCS)

Our Help Desks have been closing except for following locations to prevent the new coronavirus infections since April 8, 2020. For inquiries, please contact us by email as much as possible.
Face-to-face support is available at the following locations.

Komaba Information Education Building, 1st floor
System support assistants:
Komaba Library, 1st floor Media Park, and Komaba Information Education Bldg., 1st floor Study Room (they have been assigned since September 25, 2020)
     ※ECCS terminals in the ECCS room on the 2nd floor of Hongo General Library are unavailable from January 18, 2021 for the time being.
     ※The Service Counter on the 1st Basement Level of Fukutake Hall is closed from January 12, 2021 for the time being.
Remote support service via Zoom (trial) (The trial will end on December 25, 2020: Updated on December 15, 2020)

The Educational Campus-wide Computing System (ECCS) is a service that allows students and staff of the University of Tokyo to use computers and networking systems for the purpose of research and education.

There are 1,341 iMacs installed as ECCS terminal computers (terminals) on the Hongo, Komaba and Kasiwa Campuses, and users can select either a Mac OS or Windows environment at start-up.
